I genitori si limitano a trasmettere il loro patrimonio genetico. Dovrebbero essere selezionati in base al merito genetico anzich\u00e9 sulle prestazioni\/caratteri osservati. I caratteri rilevanti per l'allevamento di bovini da latte sono influenzati da diversi geni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ciascuna prole riceve met\u00e0 dei geni dal padre e l'altra met\u00e0 dalla madre. Poich\u00e9 un genitore non trasmette lo stesso insieme di geni a tutti i vitelli, vi sono differenze significative tra i fratellastri e i fratelli carnali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I valori genetici stimati (EBV) sono un tentativo di classificare le informazioni su tutti i tratti fenotipici osservabili in due componenti: genetica e ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Fenotipo = genetica + ambiente<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il valore di allevamento (BV) \u00e8 un valore stimato che esprime la predisposizione genetica di un animale a un determinato carattere. Matematicamente, l'EBV reale di un animale \u2013 secondo la teoria della genetica di popolazione \u2013 pu\u00f2 essere espresso come segue:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Valore di allevamento = 2 x (NKD \u2013 PD)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(NKD = prestazione media della prole)<br>\n(PD = media della popolazione di riferimento)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breeding means generating offspring that are better than their parents.
